Popcorn with the Principal

This membership program is for student members. Each student who joins the PTA as a Student Member will have the opportunity to have Popcorn with the Principal. Student Members will have popcorn with Ms. Carpenter on the following dates:

• September 5: Pk, kinder, & ECSC

• November 7: 1st – 2nd grade

• February 13: 3rd – 3rd grade

• May 1: 5th grade and anyone who has yet to attend

Golden Apple

A successful PTA is one that is supported by district and campus leaders, Teachers, Parents, and the community in their effort to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. PTAs that recruit 100% of their school’s facility as members, are eligible for a special recognition- the Golden Apple Award. *Texas PTA’s definition of faculty is principals, assistant principals, teachers, counselors, office staff and aides employed at the campus full time.

*Note: Joining the PTA does not mean you are required to volunteer.
